Abby Everett Jaques

Abby Everett Jaques teaches philosophy at MIT, where she earned her Ph.D. She is also a co-organizer of MIT’s Computational Cultures project. Her research focuses on the nature of agency and its upshots for moral and political theorizing, especially in regard to technology. Before beginning her doctorate, she worked in advertising, serving as copywriter and/or creative director for clients including Apple and HP, and as a screenwriter. Her undergraduate degree is from Princeton.
