JFI hosts weekly sessions on our staff and fellows’ research, as well as lectures and seminars from outside speakers on all of our topics of interest.
If you are interested in attending or hosting a seminar, please send us an email.
In addition to these Friday sessions, we will be launching a discussion seminar this June entitled ‘Social and Economic Mobility in NYC: Intersections of Research, Policy and Practice.’ The eight-week seminar will highlight research-based strategies, policies and practices that aim to increase social and economic mobility in New York City, and will cover a range of topics including a survey of social and economic inequality, workforce, asset- building and affordable housing strategies, school integration efforts, criminal justice reform, and social determinants of health.
For more information about ‘Social and Economic Mobility in NYC,’ email seminar lead Pascale Mevs.
