Fellow, Social Wealth Portfolio
Paulo Mann is a Ph.D. student whose research interests include artificial intelligence for social good and psychology. He joined JFI in 2021 as a Fellow in the Social Wealth Portfolio.
Prior to JFI, Paulo was a Research Assistant at Dimensional and Computational Metrology Laboratory (LMDC in Portuguese). He has published academic papers in leading AI conferences, contributing to a project of screening for depressed students by analyzing social media data with machine learning models. He also worked on the development of AI-assisted systems for Petrobras. Paulo has earned several travel grants in order to present his work abroad.
