Fellow, Digital Ethics & Governance
Liza is a fellow in AI Ethics and Digital Governance at JFI. She received her Master’s in Public Affairs (MPA) from Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, where she specialized in international development and technology policy, and holds a B.A. in International Relations from Colgate University. Prior to JFI, she worked as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Fellow at the Open Society Foundations’ Economic Justice Program, and as a Research Analyst at MDRC working on program and policy evaluations of federal workforce development programs in the US. Her research interests include AI and international development, digital governance, privacy, and algorithmic fairness.
